Valkyrie Ranch News

Due to support from our family, friends, neighboring ranchers, and other military men and women, we proudly announce that the first Cabin is completed. We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Kappy and the team of builders from Gold Creek, MT, Trailswest Constructions, for preparing this cabin for our veterans worldwide and nationwide.

We aim to complete the cabin's electricity and water before the winter starts. The Cabin is 3 hours from Yellow Stone National Park, 3 hours from Glacier National Park, and the Valkyrie Ranch is connected to Deer Lodge National Forest. If you are interested in donating to this veterans organization that U.S. military veterans run, please go to the Donation button on the home page of Valkyrie Ranch.

We are opening our hearts and home to all needing support that has served this nation worldwide. The goal is for the cabin to be rented, and the profit for the rental goes to the veterans with PTSD to come and stay for free and enjoy the beauty of the wilderness of this Elk country of Montana. When you are sitting on top of the mountains and watching the Elk graze through the meadow of Dearlodge Forest, somehow, this beautiful scenery puts light over the darkness and pushes the demons of war away from the soul.

The neighboring Ranchers came to help us this summer to get the land ready for the cabin construction. The Ranchers who are pioneers of Montana wanted to give back to the veterans of this beautiful nation; they all retired, but they came to roll up their sleeves and help us cut trees and get the road ready after the damage of a harsh winter for the cabin crew to get the work done. All of this was for the veterans that have PTSD, a place they can start their healing journey, maybe more naturally, instead of drugs that have significant side effects. This Cabin, our home, is yours.
